Protection Function during Secondary Side Open Circuit - When the secondary side of the CT is open due to disconnection or other reasons, a voltage of several kV can occur on the secondary side, posing a risk of damage to the CT and electric shock. - The 10mA output series is designed for long-distance wiring, which increases the risk of secondary side open circuits due to disconnections along the wiring. However, it has a protection function that limits the voltage during secondary side open circuit to 6.5V, ensuring safety even in the event of an open circuit. Maximum Pull-Out Distance The 10mA output series has the capability to operate with a secondary circuit voltage of up to 6.5V, allowing for long-distance pull-outs of up to 300m.
